Norway is a country full of surprises such as its snow capped mountains, beautiful blue water fjords, massive glaciers, and laid back cities. But it is also known for its unique stave churches, and of course the Vikings.
We found that the best time to experience Norway was May to September, when the weather is mild and the daylight hours are long. Wintertime however can be a totally different story, when it's really cold and dark. The country does offer its visitors endless kilometres of excellent ski trails that plough through the country, there is mountain climbing, glacier hiking, sailing, all year round skiing and of course excellent fishing and every visitor should take a fjord cruise along the beautiful Sognefjord.
Norway is considered to be one of the more expensive Scand avian countries but it still manages to offer its visitors an endless selection of sports activates, some stunning scenery and a warm welcome.

Geirangerfjord

What it lacks in size it more than makes up for in beauty. It is a complex branch of the Storfjord, which is noticeable for its impressive cascading waterfalls, and pretty villages of Geiranger and Hellesylt, which sit at either end of the fjord. Visitors that wish to explore this fjord usually arrive via the Trollstigen Highway, which takes you through some of the countries highest peaks before reaching Tafjord. Then a short ferry ride will then take you along the Ørneveien where you will be greeted with you first views of the stunning fjord.
Sognefjord

Is the longest deepest fjord in Europe, which snakes deep into the country where it combines with the Jotunheimen and the mighty Jostedalsbreen Glacier to create the municipality of Luster. Here you will find picturesque villages, isolated hamlets, and are free to explore the many arms of the fjord where the untouched and beautiful the landscape unfolds before your eyes at every turn.
